My grandma Mollyhorn baked her amazingly delicious chocolate chip cookies in the kitchen of her rural Kentucky home for family and friends using her original recipe from the 1940’s. She loved to cook and especially bake. I remember, as a child, visiting her “in the country” on weekends and vacations. One of my fondest memories of my grandma is the way her kitchen smelled when she baked the cookies and her smile when anyone would be enjoying the cookies. She baked from the heart and it showed (or tasted).
